Introduction to suno.ai

Suno is an AI singing platform that accepts user input to generate songs.

Suno can accept 4 parameters:

1. Lyrics

• Create lyrics. Usually, two stanzas (8 lines) work best, but more lines are also supported. It roughly corresponds to about 2 minutes of song.
• Suno can sing in English and Chinese.
• Lyrics with structural identifiers wrapped in [], such as [Verse], [Chorus], [Bridge], [Outro], [Intro], are more effective.
• Identifiers inside [] can include simple English style or instrument descriptions, e.g., [Intro: Ethereal bamboo flute]
• Content wrapped in [] can also describe interludes or outros in English, e.g., [Brief Instrumental].
• Content inside () may be sung as harmony, part of the lyrics.

2. Style of Music

• Describe the desired music style, e.g., acoustic pop. Suno does not recognize specific artist names but understands genres, instruments, and vocal styles.
• For multiple styles, use , to connect, e.g., accordeon, polyphony, barbershop.
• Avoid overly complex or experimental styles unless explicitly requested.
• Use English words to describe.

3. Exclude Styles (optional)

• Use the same rules as Style of Music, but list styles, instruments, or sounds to exclude.

4. Title (optional)

• Name the song.

Based on these inputs, Suno will generate a song audio of about 2 minutes, singing the lyrics with arrangements that match the style and exclude the specified styles.
